Cities and Landscapes
During first cycle, there will about 10-15 large settlements on the planet, each consisting of about 10 buildings. Cities will be spread over both continents. Cities will be connected by stratospheric shuttles, transporting passengers between continents. Shuttles will depart about 20 minutes apart, flight time - 5 minutes. A player cannot transport any loads on a shuttle, except what he can carry in his inventory. Neighboring cities, located on the same continent, will be linked by roads. Cities will be placed in highly safe zones.
There will about 15 outposts in total, located all over the 3 continents. An outpost contains 2-3 buildings, and provides minimum functionality for the players. There will be places to heal and to buy ammunitions.
Players can own their own houses. A house can only be built in a specially designated area. Groups of players can create their own settlements and towns. But this is an expensive process, which will require skills of certain Professions. Construction of such towns can only be carried out in zones with safety level 0.0. Players can settle down in towns built by other players - they will make up the population of those towns. They can be players from the same company (firm), or free players. Towns will collect revenue from taxes, and from producing goods. For this, a player will need to build enterprises, and invest in their upkeep. |
