Factions
There will be several NPC factions in the games, each with their own policy. Following factions exist at this time: Colony administration, Vortex Global Defense, Seekers, Rebels, Raiders. A player can take on quests from all factions, excluding Rebels and Raiders. Quests are organized as usual, except that a player receives factional points as well as a reward. A player can swap these points for various items (armor, weapons, etc.) which will have specific characteristics.
Colony administration
De-Yure is an independent authority, under complete de-facto Conglomerate control. It collaborates with company Vortex Global Defense, has neutral relationship with the Seekers, and extremely hostile relationship with the Rebels and Raiders.
Vortex Global Defense
Independent company, colony's largest weapon supply. Has to act according to Conglomerate rules, but has a high level of freedom in comparison to other companies, because the Conglomerate itself depends on weapon supplies. It collaborates with the Administration, has a hostile relationship with the Seekers, and extremely hostile relationship with the Rebels and Raiders.
Seekers
A large community of normal colonists, various companies and movements. Unites everyone who doesn’t completely agree with the Administration policies, but believes that conflict could destroy the colony. They depend economically and industrially on the authorities, but attempt to develop their own industry, aiming to lower this dependency. They live away from the major settlements, which are controlled by the Administration. They collaborate with the Administration, have a hostile relationship with Vortex, and extremely hostile relationship with the Rebels and Raiders. |
