The World of Earth 2
A player finds himself on an Earth-type world in year 22**, which has been colonized 15 years previously. The player is a colonist, contracted to work on this planet. The colony is an Earth-type world, where people can live without environmental suits or breathing masks. The world geography closely resembles Earth. There are two oceans, three continents, many various types of landscapes and climate zones. Flora and fauna are abundant; many types of animals are aggressive towards people and represent the greatest threat to the colonists on this planet. If there were ever sentient creatures on this planet, they are long gone, but there are traces of alien civilization which existed many years ago. This civilization has died out for some unknown reason, only leaving behind ruins and, in some places, well preserved constructions. There are currently three relatively large settlements and several dozen small outposts.
There is only one game world for all players (one server).
Technological development levels allows for energy weapons (lasers, blasters), and gauss rifles. Use of usual firearms is wide spread due to high efficiency and low cost. Cyber implants and genetic engineering are also widely in use. |
